South Lake and Madison are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Cavaliers will challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. South Lake has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight defeats, while Madison will come in with five straight victories.

On Friday, South Lake ended up a good deal behind Center Line and lost 41-24.

Madison hadn't beaten Clintondale on the road since October 4, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Dragons with a sharp 52-28 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six games by 24 points or more so far this season.

South Lake now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

South Lake didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Madison in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 14-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
