Carter has gone 10-0 against Seymour recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Carter Green Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Seymour Eagles at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Carter has three straight victories, Seymour has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Carter didn't have too much trouble with Cocke County as they won 81-67. Given the Green Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Fighting Cocks are ranked 208th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Seymour ended up a good deal behind Pigeon Forge on Friday and lost 69-53.

Carter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Seymour, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.

Everything came up roses for Carter against Seymour when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured an 82-50 win. Will Carter repeat their success, or does Seymour have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
