Volleyball Recap: Heritage Christian Comes Up Short

If Heritage Christian was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Whittier Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Valley Christian Defenders on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-11, 25-9.

Heritage Christian's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Valley Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-2.

Coincidentally, Heritage Christian and Valley Christian will both be playing Maranatha the next time they take the court. The Defenders will head out to face the Minutemen at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warriors will head out to face them at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
