Softball Recap: Mt. Whitney Takes a Loss

Mt. Whitney entered their game against Dinuba on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Mt. Whitney came up short against Dinuba, falling 15-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pioneers of the 14-11 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2017.

Mt. Whitney now has a losing record of 4-5-2. As for Dinuba, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Coming up, Mt. Whitney will head out on the road to take on Orosi at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dinuba, they will face off against Redwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
