IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) is looking for a new head coach to lead its national football team. The sports-based boarding school posted a job description following the resignation of Billy Miller, who is joining Bill Belichick's staff at the University of North Carolina.

Miller led IMG to a 7-2 record last season and No. 17 finish in the MaxPreps Top 25. He was 25-3 overall in his three seasons in Bradenton, finishing No. 4 in 2023 and No. 5 in 2022.

The new IMG Academy coach will be the sixth in the past 12 years. Miller replaced former NFL linebacker Pepper Johnson, who was with the Ascenders for one season.

Before that, Bobby Acosta coached IMG for one season, Kevin Wright helmed the program for five seasons and former NFL quarterback Chris Weinke was the school's first coach from 2013 to 2014.

Both Miller and Johnson were internal hires for the school.

Miller was a special teams scout for the New England Patriots in 2014 under Belichick before coming to IMG the following season

IMG Academy has produced 21 NFL Draft picks over the past 10 years. J.J. McCarthy (Vikings), J.C. Latham (Titans) and Xavier Thomas (Cardinals) were all selected in 2024
