Ridgewood strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Amundsen Vikings. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rebels also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Monika Bartak paced Ridgewood's offense, picking up nine kills. Bartak got some help from Victoria Gawedzki and her 14 assists. Alex Wilk controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Ridgewood's victory bumped their record up to 16-0. As for Amundsen, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Ridgewood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Berwyn/Cicero Morton on the 20th. As for Amundsen, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Fenton on the 20th.
