Baseball Recap: Clint Lions vs. Pecos Eagles
Clint saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Pecos Eagles by a score of 8-7. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Oliver Chavez and Daniel Ochoa stepped up to the plate in a big way. Chavez went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI, while Ochoa went 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Chavez is becoming a predictor of Clint's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is 2-1 (and 4-6-1 when he doesn't). Mario Pacheco was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
