Baseball Recap: Huntsville Comes Up Short

Huntsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-1 to the Montgomery Bears. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 7-0 to the Bears when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Huntsville's record is now 6-22-1. As for Montgomery, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-12-1.

While Huntsville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
