Football Recap: Wilmer-Hutchins Gets the Win + How To Watch

Wilmer-Hutchins's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 28-23 W over the Conrad Chargers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Jaheim Cummings had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 118 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries, while also throwing for 83 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Jordan Veail, who picked up 63 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Conrad, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Wilmer-Hutchins and Conrad will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Eagles see the field they'll take on Pinkston at 7:15 p.m. on October 9. As for Conrad, their break will end when they face North Dallas at 7:15 p.m. on October 9.
