Soccer Game Preview: Draughn vs. Patton

The Draughn Wildcats will challenge the Patton Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Draughn's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Draughn's offense. They came up short against East Burke on Thursday, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Patton kept a clean sheet against CHASE on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Trojans. The result was nothing new for Patton, who have now won 11 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Patton and bumps their season record up to 14-3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those two matches. As for Draughn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-5.
