The Fairwinds Christian Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. Everything went their way against Chestertown Christian Academy as Fairwinds Christian made off with a 37-17 victory. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Fairwinds Christian has managed all season.
Fairwinds Christian found their leader in underclassman Gabby Johnson, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. Gabbie Moore was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and six blocks.
Despite the defeat, Chestertown Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Megan Stoltzfus scored 12 points along with three steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Fairwinds Christian and bumps their season record up to 2-5. As for Chestertown Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Calvary Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Fairwinds Christian will host the at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Patriots will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
