Baseball Recap: Palm Desert Takes a Loss

Palm Desert fell victim to Canyon and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canyon Comanches. The Aztecs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palm Desert got a good showing from Jake Brande, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, Brande posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

Palm Desert now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Canyon, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Palm Desert didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-1 win against Yorba Linda on the 25th. As for Canyon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 victory against Redondo Union on the 25th.
