She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-5. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two).
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Layla Carr, who scored a run while going 2-for-6. Another player making a difference was Isabella Stevens, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI and one double.
Laney kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive contests.
Laney pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for North Brunswick, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
