Softball Game Preview: Etiwanda Eagles vs. Ramona Rams

Etiwanda is a perfect 3-0 against Ramona since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will be taking part in a tournament against the Rams at 3:00 p.m.

Etiwanda is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since April 30, 2025 on Saturday. They came up short against Murrieta Mesa, falling 9-1. The loss put an end to the Eagles' undefeated start to the season.

Dailynn Battee made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played.

Ramona came out on top against Redlands East Valley on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run third inning. The Rams walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Wildcats.

The team relied heavily on Emily Gonzalez, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalee Gallegos, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Etiwanda fell to 2-1. As for Ramona, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Etiwanda got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February of 2025 against Ramona by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rams turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
