Football Recap: Waterford Comes Up Short

Waterford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 34-10 to the Badger Badgers. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 108th, while the Badgers are ranked ninth).

Waterford's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Badger, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Waterford is set to face off against their familiar foe Burlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Badger will challenge rival Union Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Badgers 12.1, the Broncos 13.2) so any points scored will be well earned.
