Africentric Early College is a perfect 10-0 against Independence since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Nubians will head out to square off against the 76ers at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Africentric Early College strolled past South with points to spare, taking the game 58-42. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Nubians.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Independence). They walked away with a 59-49 victory over Briggs on Tuesday. The game was the first time the 76ers have beaten the Bruins on their court since December 13, 2022.

Independence's win came from a few key players Africentric Early College will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tavian Washington, who posted seven points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Abdoulaye Ndongo, who scored six points along with six boards and four steals.

Independence smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Africentric Early College's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Independence, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Africentric Early College against Independence in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 70-31 win. Will the Nubians repeat their success, or do the 76ers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
