Basketball Recap: Birchwood's Loss Ends Ten-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Birchwood was the 62-40 winner over Prairie Farm when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Birchwood Bobcats lost to the Prairie Farm Panthers on the road by a 70-52 margin on Friday.

Birchwood's defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for Prairie Farm, they moved to 1-3 with that victory, which also ended their 16-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Birchwood will be home for the holidays to greet Lake Holcombe at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prairie Farm, they will welcome Clayton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
