Bellbrook extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping their season record up to 12-8 in the process. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Brookville Blue Devils. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Abigail Hebrank (2028) made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last 11 matchups. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one run. That triple was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Heidi Pummell (2027) was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Kelsey Kenney (2027) was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

As for Brookville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

On Brookville's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brianna Abrams, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellbrook will square off against Carlisle at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brookville, they will host Eaton at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
