Baseball Recap: Washington's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mardela, Washington was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Wicomico Indians by a score of 5-1. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Jaguars as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Nasear Bailey, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

Washington picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Wicomico, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.
