Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northshore walked away with it. They never let the Live Oak Eagles get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Tuesday. The Panthers were shut out 19-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Panthers were just returning the favor.

Northshore is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-6-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games.
