Softball Recap: Sweetwater Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sweetwater can now relate to. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roane County Yellowjackets on Wednesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Sweetwater's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Roane County, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-2.

Looking ahead, Sweetwater will square off against Alcoa at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tornadoes will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. Roane County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
