Soccer Recap: King & Queen Central Takes a Loss

King & Queen Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 6-1 to the Middlesex Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Middlesex this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in April.

King & Queen Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Middlesex, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King & Queen Central will welcome King William at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. King & Queen Central will be up against King William's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.3 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Middlesex, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Mathews at 7:30 p.m. Mathews will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Middlesex surely won't give up without a fight.
