Volleyball Recap: Taylor County Takes a Loss

Taylor County was the 3-0 winner over Wakulla Christian School when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 15-25, 25-17, 25-20.

Avery Finley paced Taylor County's offense, picking up 12 kills. Finley were helped by Allee McCall and Addison English, who contributed eight assists each. Miranda Cruce controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Taylor County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wakulla Christian School, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Taylor County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Countryside Christian on the 5th. As for Wakulla Christian School, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Maclay on the 4th.
