Softball Recap: Foxcroft Comes Up Short

Foxcroft managed to slip by Trinity Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Foxcroft lost 18-1 to Trinity Christian on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, Foxcroft couldn't push the score so high this time.

Foxcroft's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Trinity Christian, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Foxcroft will take on Evergreen Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity Christian, they will challenge Fredericksburg Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gryphons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 14.5 runs per game this season.
