Soccer Game Preview: Muncy vs. York Catholic

The Muncy Indians will face off against the York Catholic Fighting Irish at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Muncy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last nine games.

Muncy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Southern Columbia Area a 1-0 shutout. Muncy wouldn't have won without Ella Nagel, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, York Catholic unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Wednesday. They came up short against Brandywine Heights Area, falling 6-3. Things were pretty much settled by the half as York Catholic were already down 3-0.

York Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Muncy, their win bumped their record up to 18-2-1.
