After losing to North Sanpete the last time they met, Richfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats skirted past the Hawks 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Garrett Wayman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Wayman was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Malik Fautin was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That home run was his first of the season.

Richfield's record is now 6-10. As for North Sanpete, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Coming up, Richfield will host Juab at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wasps will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Sanpete, they will head out on the road to square off against Emery at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
