Volleyball Game Preview: West Holt Huskies vs. Wausa Vikings

The West Holt Huskies will challenge the Wausa Vikings at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Wausa is facing West Holt at the wrong time: West Holt suffered their first home loss of the season on Tuesday and they're likely out for redemption. They lost 3-0 to the Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Huskies have suffered since September 2nd.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Wausa came up short against Niobrara/Verdigre on Thursday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 20-25, 25-21.

West Holt's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Wausa, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

West Holt took their victory against Wausa in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
