Basketball Recap: Buffalo's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Buffalo came into Monday's match having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged the Teays Valley Christian Lions out 58-56. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bison also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Teays Valley Christian still got an impressive performance from Alex Starcher, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Eli Pendleton, who had nine points.

Buffalo's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Teays Valley Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Buffalo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-31 victory against Clay County on the 14th. As for Teays Valley Christian, they will face off against Grace Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Teays Valley Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.1 points per game this season.
