Softball Game Preview: Kenston Bombers vs. Nordonia Knights

The Kenston Bombers will challenge the Nordonia Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chardon hit Kenston with a seven-run second inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bombers lost 12-1 to the Hilltoppers. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Nordonia and Twinsburg had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Knights came up short against the Tigers on Monday, falling 15-5.

Gracie Smith was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Becker, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.

Nordonia's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Kenston, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.
