Softball Recap: Troy Trojans vs. Wellsboro Hornets
It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Troy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Wellsboro Hornets. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Hornets last Wednesday, they had to take a 9-8 loss.
Erinn Knapp was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over nine innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits.
