Softball Recap: Williamson Warriors vs. Wyalusing Valley Rams
Williamson extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping them down to 4-3. They lost 8-0 to the Wyalusing Valley Rams. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.
Williamson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Gee, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Maddy Fay also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
As for Wyalusing Valley, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won four games by eight runs or more so far this season.
On Wyalusing Valley's side, Addisyn Bly was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Treanna Nickeson, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.
Williamson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-1 victory against Northeast Bradford on the 16th. As for Wyalusing Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against North Penn-Liberty on the 15th.
