Recap: Blum Bobcats vs. Frost Polar Bears
After flying high against the Valor Preparatory Academy Knights on Thursday, the Blum Bobcats came back down to earth. Blum fell to Frost 32-28. Blum lost against Frost in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 46-40 score last time.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Frost to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karlee Anderson, who scored 12 points along with 6 steals. Anderson is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brynna Banks, who scored 5 points along with 3 steals.
Blum's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Frost, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Blum will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Iredell at 5:00 p.m. on December 15th. Frost will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Dawson at 5:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Dawson's defense has only allowed 20 points per game this season, so Frost's offense will have their work cut out for Frost.
