Basketball Recap: Germantown Takes a Loss

Germantown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 52-44 to the Tyner Academy Rams.

Rodney Henderson III continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tyner Academy, going 5 of 8 on his way to 15 points along with seven boards and five assists. Henderson III's afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Adarius Brewster was another key player, putting up nine points.

Germantown's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Tyner Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

Germantown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 51-39 defeat against Southwind on the 27th. Tyner Academy has also already played their next contest, a 77-38 win against Sequatchie County on the 28th.
