On Friday, Jesuit faced Osceola in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Jesuit Tigers fell just short of the Osceola Warriors by a score of 3-2. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jesuit fell to 8-1-1. As for Osceola, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Jesuit will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Osceola, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 0-0 loss against Palm Harbor University on the 14th.
