Rich Hill had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 67-59 victory over the Northeast Vernon County Knights on Monday. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won eight contests in a row dating back to last season.

Northeast Vernon County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Rich Hill and Northeast Vernon County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Tigers see the court they'll take on Liberal at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
