Softball Game Preview: Framingham Flyers vs. Brookline Warriors

The Framingham Flyers will take on the Brookline Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wellesley hit Framingham with a five-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Flyers lost 11-1 to the Raiders. The Flyers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Framingham saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison (Addie) Willdridge, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Brookline fell victim to Newton North and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 21-0. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Framingham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Brookline, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everything went Framingham's way against Brookline when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Framingham made off with a 23-2 victory. Do the Flyers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
