Basketball Recap: Santa Fe Takes a Loss

After flying high against Capital last Tuesday, Santa Fe came back down to earth. The Santa Fe Demons fell just short of the Eldorado Golden Eagles by a score of 37-34 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Demons in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Eldorado, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-14 record this season.

Santa Fe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eldorado, they will face off against La Cueva at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as La Cueva comes in on five and Eldorado on three.
