Basketball Recap: Westfall Comes Up Short

Westfall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 45-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Piketon Redstreaks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redstreaks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-37 back in January.

Westfall's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Piketon, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

While Westfall had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
