 Smiths Station stacked  a  fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  5-1 margin over the Oxford Yellow Jackets. The  victory was familiar territory for Smiths Station who now have three in a row.
 They hit Oxford with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Jaxon Wood (2), 
 Oscar Garniron, 
 Joshua Junghans,  and 
 Alex Ruof.
 Smiths Station has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten games,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record  this season. As for Oxford, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8-2.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Smiths Station will take on Central at 8:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 3.7  goals per game  this season. As for Oxford, they will be playing at home against Gadsden City at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
