Basketball Recap: Iola-Scandinavia Takes a Loss

Iola-Scandinavia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 69-27 loss at the hands of the Pacelli Cardinals. The contest marked the Thunderbirds' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Iola-Scandinavia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Pacelli, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds face off against the Menominee Indian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Iola-Scandinavia is facing Menominee Indian at the right time seeing as Menominee Indian is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Pacelli, they are taking a road trip to square off against Almond-Bancroft at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Pacelli's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups.
