Volleyball Recap: Imlay City's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Imlay City lost against Utica Eisenhower back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Spartans were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, Imlay City fell to 4-1. As for Utica Eisenhower, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Imlay City will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brown City at 5:00 p.m. on September 3. As for Utica Eisenhower, they will be taking part in a tournament against Troy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
