Baseball Recap: Christian Fellowship Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Christian Fellowship won the last time they faced Central Missouri HomeSchool and things went their way on Tuesday too. Christian Fellowship walked away with a 17-12 victory over Central Missouri HomeSchool. The win was familiar territory for Christian Fellowship, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Sterling Nivens and Brett Conklin did most of the damage at the plate: Nivens got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, while Conklin went 1-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Conklin a new career-high. Jack Mowrey also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Christian Fellowship always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive games.

Christian Fellowship now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Central Missouri HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
