Basketball Recap: Mechanicsburg's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Mechanicsburg hadn't done well against West Liberty-Salem recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Mechanicsburg Indians walked away with a 42-35 victory over the West Liberty-Salem Tigers. The win was some much needed relief for the Indians as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Ritchie went 5 of 7 on his way to 10 points along with six boards and four steals, while Eyink went 6 for 9 en route to 16 points. The dominant performance gave Ritchie a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Keegan Freeze, who posted seven points and five rebounds.
