Basketball Recap: Lynnwood Comes Up Short

After flying high against University Prep last Saturday, Lynnwood came back down to earth. The Lynnwood Royals had to suffer through a 68-16 loss at the hands of the Shorecrest Scots. The match marked the Royals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Lynnwood's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Shorecrest, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Lynnwood will head out on the road to take on Archbishop Murphy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lynnwood is facing Archbishop Murphy at the right time seeing as Archbishop Murphy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Shorecrest, they will be home for the holidays to greet Shorewood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Shorecrest knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Shorewood likes a good challenge.
