Sioux Valley and Arlington are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2021, but not for long. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sioux Valley lost 3-0 to Hamlin on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cossacks have suffered against the Chargers since October 4, 2022.

While Sioux Valley was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Hamlin's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-21.

Arlington not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Deuel. Arlington hasn't had any issues with Deuel recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

While Arlington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-17, 25-17.

Arlington's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Sioux Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.
