Donegal and Warwick are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. Donegal will head out on the road to challenge Warwick at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Warwick took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Donegal, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Donegal was able to grind out a solid win over Middletown, taking the game 11-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.
Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Warwick was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell just short of Spring-Ford by a score of 3-2.
Kate Shaak was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she struck out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Katie Heisey was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
Donegal's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Warwick, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
