Football Recap: San Diego Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

San Diego dropped to 4-2 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins at home. They took a 31-13 bruising from the Point Loma Pointers. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Cavers, who until this game were averaging 11 points allowed.

As for Point Loma, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.0 points on average this season.

Point Loma's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ryder Watson led the charge by throwing for 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 40 yards and one score.

Looking ahead, San Diego is taking a road trip to square off against St. Augustine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Point Loma, they will square off against Cathedral Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dons' defense has only allowed 13.4 points per game this season, so the Pointers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
