Football Recap: North Chicago's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

North Chicago had lost five straight headed into Friday's game, but Anthony Fisher didn't let it get to six. The Warhawks blew past the Round Lake Panthers 55-7 on Friday thanks in part to Fisher, who rushed for 210 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 84-yard run.

North Chicago didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Lepresce Wade, Dyzhir Usher, and Gavin Bone picked up one apiece. Wade got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

North Chicago's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Round Lake, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

North Chicago has already played their next matchup, a 28-16 victory against Grayslake North on the 24th. As for Round Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 41-7 defeat against Grayslake Central on the 24th.
