Pickerington Central owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They came out on top against the Newark Wildcats by a score of 5-0. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in April, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

The win made it two in a row for Pickerington Central and bumps their season record up to 10-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Newark, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5.
