Christopher has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Sesser-Valier/Waltonville Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Christopher focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Monday.
Last Monday, Christopher humbled Cobden with a 60-31 victory.
Amiah Hargrove continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 38 points and 15 rebounds. The matchup was her ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Londynn Pontious, who scored 6 points along with 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Sesser-Valier/Waltonville was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 48-42 to Johnston City. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Sesser-Valier/Waltonville in their matchups with Johnston City: they've now lost five in a row.
Christopher now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Sesser-Valier/Waltonville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
